Beauty Saloon
A beauty salon in the
Islamic republic of Iran is an all and only women place. According to the
Iran's Islamic Sharia law men are not allowed to see women's' body unless their
face and hands, therefore Iranian women can only show faces and hands in which
they put more time to make up. The young generations of girls even try to break
the 33-year rule in the streets and tie their scarf very loose that people can
see their hairs and styles. Beauty salon is a very important place for Iranian
women, a place that they feel free without any veil to make themselves more
beautiful and show off. The paradoxical society in Iran is a struggling issue
that still goes on. Women can only take off their Islamic veils at indoor
places and they look completely different at outdoor and public. The come
inside the saloon, veiled and after the make-up and manicure they leave the
saloon veiled.
